Shikaku Room

Shikaku Room is a calm, logic-based puzzle game about dividing space with care. Each puzzle gives you a grid filled with scattered numbers. Your task is to divide the entire board into rectangles, making sure each rectangle contains exactly one number and covers exactly that many squares. A clue marked 6, for example, must belong to a rectangle made of 6 grid squares. The rules are simple, but the puzzles quickly become deeply satisfying. Every board is solved through deduction, planning, and a little spatial intuition. There are no timers forcing you forward, no noisy distractions, and no pressure. Just a quiet room, a clean puzzle, and the pleasure of finding the right shape. Start with small tutorial grids, then work your way through larger and more challenging puzzles as the campaign expands. Each region must: Contain exactly one number Cover exactly the number of squares shown Avoid overlapping other regions Leave no empty cells behind For example, a clue of 12 could be solved as a 3x4 rectangle, a 2x6 rectangle, a 1x12 line, or any other rectangle with an area of 12, as long as it fits the board and does not capture another clue. Controls Play comfortably with mouse, keyboard, or gamepad. Use the cursor to choose a starting cell, expand your rectangle, then confirm your selection.
