Description
The survey skyship Morrowline maps a continent whose magnetic weather moves roads, rivers and settlements overnight. You command its survey company: hire cohorts, unfold three Atlas Sheets, and win the ground one formation at a time. FORMATION TACTICS, NOT CLICK SPEED Every cohort is 12 to 32 agents holding authored formation slots. Width, depth, facing, brace, loose order, volley, charge and controlled retreat decide fights — casualties close ranks from the outside in. Pause at any moment, inspect everything, queue orders, and resume at 0.5x, 1x, 2x or 3x with no reward penalty. SIX COMPANIES, FORTY-EIGHT COHORTS Ember Survey holds disciplined lines. Mirebound Union owns the wet ground. Glasswing Enclave flanks from concealment. Stonewake Foundry brings plate and siege. Verdant Loom grows the terrain back. Pale Current fights your enemy's belief. Twelve captains supply a Doctrine, a charged Command and a Burden that complicates the whole run. TERRAIN AND WEATHER CHANGE THE PLAN Ten terrain materials and eight announced weather fronts alter movement, missiles, impact, fatigue and morale. Crosswind drags volleys. Magnetic Rain punishes plate. Glass Frost makes straight lines fast and turns treacherous. Every warning arrives before the change, never after. A BRANCHING EXPEDITION Three Atlas Sheets, twenty-four battlefields, twelve objective templates and fifty-four contracts and dilemmas. The Weather Glass shows its 0-99 marker and its result bands before you commit — spend Forecast to shift the odds, or accept the outcome. Six endpoint commanders close the Sheets, each with a disclosed plan you can disrupt. COHORTS REMEMBER Field Marks, Scars, nicknames, casualty histories and decisive moments follow your veterans through the run. Sixty pieces of equipment, forty-eight Field Marks and twenty-four Scars turn a starting doctrine into a company that is unmistakably yours. BUILT TO BE PLAYED ANY WAY Full keyboard-only and gamepad-only play, complete rebinding, three colour-vision palettes, text and UI scaling, reduced motion, captions and a Formula Archive that shows the maths. Offline from the first second: no account, no network, no purchases.
