Description
Something went wrong under the forest floor. The spores turned, the soil turned with them, and now everything that grows down there wants you gone. You are a mushroom with six weapons floating around you and twenty waves to live through. MOVE, DON'T AIM Your weapons fire on their own at whatever is closest. Your only job is where you stand — kiting a swarm into a corridor, backing off a charger, deciding whether that last crate of materials is worth the three seconds it costs you. It is a game about positioning, not clicking. BUILD A RUN IN THIRTY SECONDS Every wave ends in a shop. Four offers, a reroll, six weapon slots, and never quite enough materials. Buy a second copy of a weapon at the same tier and the two merge into the next one — that is the whole power curve, and it is where runs are won. Level up between waves and pick a stat: crit, attack speed, armour, harvesting, luck, engineering. Twelve items stack on top, some of them with teeth — thorns that punish attackers, a gland that poisons everything you touch, an ancient truffle that pays you for hoarding. EIGHT MUSHROOMS, EIGHT PROBLEMS Bello grows steadily and forgives mistakes. Amanita hits like a truck and dies to a stiff breeze. Morel plants his feet and becomes a wall. Enoki is barely there. Trüf haggles. Puffy explodes — on purpose, mostly. Each one starts with a different weapon and a perk that changes what you are allowed to build. TWELVE WEAPONS THAT PLAY DIFFERENTLY A dagger that lives on critical hits. A whip that sweeps a whole arc. A hammer that sends a shockwave through the ground. Living blades that orbit you. A rifle that punches through a line of enemies. A launcher, a turret, a wand that hunts, and a sprayer that leaves everything rotting behind it. Four tiers each. TWO ARENAS, TEN ENEMY TYPES, TWO BOSSES Fight in the open sunlight of the Spore Meadow, where there is nowhere to hide and nothing in your way — or in the Fungal Cavern, tighter and darker, where pillars break every line of fire. Spitters keep their distance. Bloaters explode. Chargers telegraph and then close the gap in half a second. Splitters get worse when you kill them. At wave 10 the ground opens for MYCELITH. At wave 20 something much larger is waiting. FIVE DANGER LEVELS Sprout is a gentle walk through the mould. Ruin means the forest wants you gone. Higher danger pays better. PLAY IT YOUR WAY Full gamepad support, menus and all — the focus ring moves geometrically, so the d-pad works on every screen. Keyboard and mouse if you prefer, with optional manual aiming for people who cannot help themselves. Graphics scale automatically if your hardware struggles. Every mushroom, enemy, weapon, arena, particle and note of music in this game is generated in code at runtime. There is not a single model, texture or audio file anywhere in it.
