Dog Quest

King Leo the lion has united every cat clan, captured the Dog King and locked himself in his fortress. Pawtopia needs a hero with four paws and a very good nose. Dog Quest is an action RPG you play from start to finish with a gamepad or a keyboard, alone or with a friend on the same screen. FOUR HERO DOGS Barkley the Golden Retriever Knight, Frost the Husky Mage, Pepper the Shiba Inu Rogue and Tank the Bulldog Guardian. Each dog starts with different health, power, speed and mana, so the same fight plays differently with each of them. AN OPEN WORLD TO SNIFF OUT Pawtopia is a 200 x 150 tile overworld split into six regions: Barkshire Meadows, Sandpaw Desert, Frostfang Tundra, Whisker Woods, Ember Wastes and The Pride Lands. Five towns each have a blacksmith, a mage tower, an inn and a quest board. COMBAT THAT READS Attack in a three-hit combo, dodge roll through danger and cast up to four spells at once. Every enemy attack is telegraphed with a red zone on the ground, so a good dodge always beats a big hit. 19 kinds of cat enemies use 8 different behaviours: brawlers, archers, witches, dashing assassins, pouncers, fire and ice breathers, teleporting ninjas and heavy brutes. 22 DUNGEONS, 22 BOSSES Every dungeon has its own boss waiting behind a sealed arena door, and a reward chest after the fight. Each boss switches to an enraged phase at half health. Collect the four Royal Seals to open the way to the final battle against King Leo, the Lion Tyrant. LOOT YOU CAN SEE 51 weapons, helmets and armor pieces across five weapon types, from Common to Legendary. Everything you equip shows on your dog. Find a duplicate or pay the blacksmith to level an item up. EIGHT SPELLS Flame Bark, Healing Lick, Thunder Paw, Frost Howl, Bone Shield, Earthquake Stomp, Spirit Wolves and Meteor Howl. Learn them at mage towers and upgrade each one up to level 10. KEYS AND CHESTS Chests come in five tiers: Wooden, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Royal. Clear the main dungeons to earn each tier's key, then come back and open every chest of that tier across the world. QUESTS A 14-step main story and 24 side quests, with a quest compass, a minimap and a full world map. Level up to 50. LOCAL CO-OP FOR TWO A second player can join on the character select screen or at any time from the menu, with a second gamepad or on the other half of the keyboard. The shared camera zooms out as you spread apart, and a fallen partner gets back up when you stand next to them. Autosave, inn saves, intro and ending cutscenes, and a game-over screen that lets you respawn and try again.
