Split is a first-person puzzle game featuring a unique mechanic that allows players to create copies of themselves and manipulate time. The gameplay combines many different types of puzzles inspired by both well-known and lesser-known puzzle games, presenting them from a completely new perspective. Following a recent war, engineers at Epsilon Energy developed the Split system, an indestructible shield system. It was designed to protect individual megacities, which cover almost the entire planet, from armed conflicts. Different cities have different policies regarding their citizens. In West Ulrage, every citizen is given a guardian robot at birth. In Hal'Tor, pairs of robots raise several children. In Dievez, meanwhile, people are raised in large facilities. Most jobs have been taken over by machines. Humans mainly work as mechanics, programmers, or operators. The Split control panel is filled with numerous traps that will require both quick reflexes and composure. You can try to destroy your enemies or escape from them, using time manipulation and your own clones to distract them. The game's visual design draws inspiration from brutalism, an architectural style that was popular in the 1970s. It was also influenced by the game Control. We combined this style with the digital environments of Tron: Legacy. The levels are filled with hidden corners that may appear empty at first glance, but lead to interesting locations. In Creatura, design and care for enclosed ecosystems filled with animals and plants grown from scratch, using realistically simulated natural/artificial selection and genetic engineering. Embark on an epic journey through the ages of evolution, from single-celled organisms sharing water with algae to complex animals living in lush gardens. Manage and recreate fully customizable vivariums while carefully balancing biome characteristics to maintain ideal ecosystems. Complete a unique almanac with species that have yet to be discovered, and edit your own fauna and flora using an authentic DNA editor, learning how modern tools and techniques such as CRISPR and GMOs work in detail. Creatura features an open-ended, sandbox-style game mode that allows you to create any bonsai vivarium you can imagine, as well as educational scenario-based challenges, including an extensive tutorial. Sell plant cuttings to purchase decorations and supplies, research fauna and flora to unlock advanced DNA-editing methods, and, with enough patience and luck, breed rare and unique specimens for trade. Or simply watch the grass grow, based on the latest biological research building on the legacy of Charles Darwin and Gregor Mendel. After all, it's just science.
