The Geniere, a first-serie Soldati-type destroyer, was built in 1938 and during the WWII served in the XI Destroyer Squadron of the Regina Marina, up until she was sunk in 1943. Like other destroyers in this series, Geneiro is named after a specific branch of the Italian army, in this particular case - it is named after the combat engineers. A 48,000 hp engine was installed on the destroyer, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 35 knots (64 km/h). The armament of this premium destroyer consists of five 120 mm / 50 O.T.O Mod. 1936 placed in three turrets and also twelve 20 mm AA Breda guns in six twin-gun turrets. In addition, the Geniere is equipped with six 533 mm torpedoes placed in two triple-barrel mounts. All premium vehicles allow you to earn increased Research Points and Silver Lions for each battle and comes furnished with all available modifications. With a Premium account (also purchasable in the game for Golden Eagles) you will earn more Research Points and Silver Lions during each battle for a set amount of days.
