MICROSOFT XBOX MARCH MENTORING PROGRAMME RULES AND REGULATIONS
These Rules and Regulations (“Rules”) govern the operation of the Microsoft Xbox March Mentoring Programme (“Programme”). Eligible individuals are able to register to potentially receive a one-on-one coaching session with a mentor to discuss their career journey and experiences.
2. REGISTRATION PERIOD
The Programme starts at 6:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on 21 June 2022, and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on 26 June 2022 (“Registration Period”).
To enter, you must be a legal resident of either Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, New Zealand, United States, Ireland or United Kingdom, and be 18 years of age or older.
Employees and directors of Microsoft Corporation and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, are not eligible, nor are persons involved in the execution or administration of this Programme, or the family members of each above (parents, children, siblings, spouse/domestic partners, or individuals residing in the same household). Void where prohibited.
4. HOW TO ENTER
To enter go to xbox.com/promotions/mentoring and fully complete and submit the registration form during the Registration Period. Limit one (1) entry per eligible individual. Any attempt to complete and submit more than one form will result in disqualification. Individuals may only register to enter for the region in which they legally reside.
5. PROGRAMME WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
Microsoft will select one (1) individual (5 individuals in total) from each of the following regions: US, UK & Ireland, ANZ (Australia and New Zealand), Canada and DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) for the coaching session. The individual will be selected based upon similar career goals that match the mentor’s career experience. Individuals will be notified by Microsoft (or an agency acting on behalf of Microsoft) by email on or before 30 June 2022. The individual must reply to the email notification within three (3) days of outreach (“Selected Participant”), or Microsoft will select another individual for the coaching session.
6. COACHING SESSION
The date and time of the coaching session will be determined by Microsoft based upon the availability of the mentor and the Selected Participant. The session must take place by 30 July 2022 at the latest. The Selected Participant will receive an invite for a Teams sessions from Microsoft (or an agency acting on behalf of Microsoft) by email and further guidance on how to make the session meaningful for the parties. The Selected Participant must have stable Internet and a working microphone (camera also preferred) for participation. The session will be a maximum of 60 minutes. The coaching conversations will not be recorded and the content may not be shared on social media. There will be an optional survey at the end of the session. The mentor reserves the right to discontinue the coaching session at any time if there is any sort of improper conduct, disruptive or disrespectful behaviour by the Selected Participant. Any information/guidance given by the mentor represents their personal views, opinions and experiences and Microsoft makes no representations or warranties with respect to such information/guidance.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
To the extent allowed by law, by entering you agree to release and hold harmless Microsoft and its respective parents, partners, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injury, loss or damage of any kind arising in connection with this Programme.
The decisions of Microsoft are final and binding.
We reserve the right to cancel, change, or suspend this Programme for any reason.
