• Xbox 360 的新增內容： 360 版本的「吉他英雄 2 」包括了 X-Plorer 吉他控制器、新追加的歌曲以及可下載的內容。
• 堅強的配樂陣容： 收錄的 70 餘首膾炙人口的名曲中，包括有：「 You Really Got Me 」、「 War Pigs 」、「 Beast and the Harlot 」、「 Crazy on You 」、「 Carry On Wayward Son 」、「 Heart-Shaped Box 」、「 Killing in the Name 」、「 Sweet Child O’ Mine 」、「 Message in a Bottle 」、「 Shout at the Devil 」以及「 Surrender 」。
