To view your current membership and options for membership renewal:
From any area of the Xbox Dashboard, select your gamer profile.
From the Gamer Profile screen, select Account Management, Memberships.
Select your Xbox membership, identified by the type of membership you have (for instance, "Xbox Live 12 mo. Gold Membership").
Your membership screen will show your membership start date, the next billing date, your renewal type and cost, and, if applicable, both the card type and the last four digits of the credit card you used to pay for the membership.
You'll also see three options, all of which pertain to membership renewal:
Select Modify Membership to view a list of alternate membership types and renewal options. If you have an Xbox Live Silver membership, you have the option to upgrade to a full Xbox Live Gold membership.
Select Change Payment Options to choose between a prepaid card, a new credit card, or (if applicable) your current credit card.
Select Redeem Prepaid Code to enter the 25-digit code from your prepaid card.
To buy a prepaid card, visit your favorite video-game retailer.
