October 16, 1849 Frederic Chopin is lying sick in bed at his Parisian apartment at Number 12 Place Vendôme. At this late hour, thepianist drifts into his final dream.

Chopin's consciousness has left reality. He steps into a mystic world; a world told only in fairy tales. Life in this world is the same as that of the real world; people here have the same emotions and carry out their daily lives just like we do.

The only difference is that people in this dream world who have incurable health conditions obtain magic powers as a side-effect of their illnesses. Chopin is able to use magic since his body is also plagued by a fatal disease. In real life and in his dreams, Chopin is afflicted with illness. However, this also allows Chopin to see thedream world and everything in it objectively. The dream world is just an illusion created by Chopin's own mind...

The composer's attitude, however, gradually starts to change once he meets Polka, a sick young girl, who has accepted her fate and still lives her life to the fullest. In this world it is believed that everyone has a jewel in their heart called "Trusty." The brightness of this jewel depends on the purity of the owner's devotion. Polka's Trusty is extremely bright; however the brightness of her jewel brings her many hardships. A young boy named Allegretto tries to save her by changing her fate.

Everything gets tangled and changes when the power of fate comes into effect.

BattleSystem
	●Time-shared Real-time Battle System:
		The "Time-shared real-time battle system" is a combination of turn-based and real-time systems. With this battle system, team battles can be played with three or less characters. Only one active character (in turn) moves freely on open ground within a limited time.This system has a high amount of freedom, demands the use of strategy from players and provides clear, easy to understand battlegrounds.
	●Special Attacks of "Light vs. Dark":
		The concept of "light and dark" plays an important role in this game's battles. Finishing moves in this game are divided into "light" and "dark": "Light" moves refer to moves executed when the character is standing in the sun and "Dark" moves refer to moves executed when the character is in the shade. Players can execute specialmoves by pressing just one button. The quickness this feature provides allowsreal-time battles and is even suitable for beginners who have never played full real-time battles.
	●Monster Morphing System:
		Playable characters are not the only ones to be affected by the light and dark. The "Monster Morphing System" allows enemies to change their appearance, strength, names and special attacks, depending on whether they are in the sunshine or not.

Collections
	●Score Pieces:
		"Score pieces (parts of music scores)" will be found at various places throughout the game. After collecting a certain number of pieces, players have a music session with townspeople. Players get special items depending on how successful their performances are.
	●Enemy Photo:
		During battles, Beat can take photos of enemies by using his special move "Beat Snapshot". After the battles are over, the photos can be browsed from a menu and are scored according to their quality. Players can sell these photos in stores for cashand photos with higher scores can be sold at higher prices.
