"What's wrong with u"Opens A Journey of Discovery into the Xbox 360 UniverseHigh impact Internet campaign takes you to the heart of high definition, next generation gaming 09 February 2007
Running from 9 February until the end of May 2007, the campaign dubbed “What’s Wrong With U” takes consumers through a progressively interactive engagement with Xbox 360 as it runs through its three phases. “Each component is designed to build greater interaction between consumers and Xbox. The online video banners show off the great look and feel and the spectacular gameplay of blockbuster titles such as “DEAD OR ALIVE ®Xtreme 2”, Blue Dragon” and “ Lost Odyssey” as well as unique defining features of Xbox 360 – from wireless to multiplayer gaming. What’s more, these truly interactive ads open vast opportunities for consumers to explore and learn more about next-generation gaming on Xbox 360,” said Tony Boatman, SEA, Group Marketing Manager, Entertainment & Devices Division, Microsoft. The banners lead audiences to the online campaign’s unique feature -“Whatswrongwithu.com” which enables Xbox to proactively engage with consumers. The microsite features Xbox 360-inspired cool downloadables such as wallpapers, desktop icons and emoticons. The microsite also features a link to hot new Xbox 360 promotions available at your nearest store. “Not all gamers are the same. Some are serious about their gaming, others just want to have fun with their friends. This microsite ensures that we deliver the joy of next generation gaming in a way that resonates with each audience,” says Mr. Boatman. The online campaign will culminate with the “I want an Xbox 360” online video competition on the “Whatswrongwithu” website for a chance to win a complete entertainment system with Xbox 360! “We are targeting everyone who is interested in digital entertainment with one clear message – Xbox 360 is the best Next Gen console in the market today,” says Mr. Boatman. “We’re inviting everyone to step into the new world of entertainment with us and be prepared for a revolutionary experience.” For details, please log on to www.whatswrongwithu.com
