Xbox and Phantagram bring “Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes” to Singapore gamers

Xbox 360The most anticipated Xbox action-strategy game of the year will arrive in retail outlets in Singapore on September 29

TOKYO, JAPAN, September 16, 2005 — Xbox® Asia and Phantagram today transported the Asian media to the war-torn land of Bersia in a press event held at the Tokyo Game Show.

Renowned internationally as the most epic fantasy game on Xbox, “Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes” is a vastly enhanced sequel to the award-winning hit of 2004, “Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders”.

“The developers have worked hard to ensure that this installment is a bigger, better, yet more approachable sequel in every way,” said Sangyoun Lee, Executive Producer of Phantagram. “Developed exclusively for Xbox by Phantagram and Blueside Studios, the game is totally overhauled multiplayer function supports up to 6 players on Xbox Live ® in the strategic Troop Battle Mode, the arcade-style Hero Battle Mode, and the cooperative Invasion Mode.”

“Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes” will be released in Singapore on September 29, at an estimated retail price of $69.90. Also from September 29, Singapore gamers can purchase the limited edition “Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes” Xbox bundle which includes an Xbox video game system and controller, “Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes” and “Halo 2” games, and an Xbox Live Arcade disc, all at an estimated retail price of $349.

Set five years before “The Crusaders”, the sequel introduces seven new heroes who take players through 50 massive medieval battlefields in the single player Campaign Mode. Action elements have been boosted with a larger arsenal of power moves, yet the new units and environments make the strategy even more sophisticated. Random Missions and Custom Missions allow players to enjoy unlimited new missions after they complete the campaign. On the other hand, Spectator Mode and Fair-Match condition make sure that even beginners can have fun online without fearing defeat.
