“Spider-Man 2”

According to recent data from NPD TRSTS Data in the USA, “Spider-Man 2” debuted as the Number One best-selling video game within five days of its launch.  It was the Number One selling video game in the U.K. for the week ending July 17, according to the U.K. Chart Track Flash Report and the Number One selling video game in Australia for the week of July 9, according to GfK Inform Database.

With more than two million units shipped across the world, the game from Activision, Inc., which is currently available in stores now lets players experience what it's like to be the world's most celebrated Super Hero as they web sling from buildings, dive from rooftops to the streets and scale the heights of Manhattan, a living breathing city complete with pedestrians, traffic, trains and helicopters. Gamers can re-live the film's storyline or embark on exclusive game missions as they perform heroic deeds, protect citizens from random crimes, and face off against the nefarious Doc Ock and other Marvel super-villains.  “Spider-Man 2” is currently available for a suggested retail price of S$69.90.

“Shrek 2”

Experience the humor, magic and fun of DreamWorks' "Shrek 2" feature film with the release of the “Shrek 2” video game from Activision, Inc. Gamers can now immerse themselves in the epic adventure by playing as the film's main characters Shrek®, Donkey, Princess Fiona™ and Puss-in-Boots™, as well as original characters created for the game. Players journey through 11 action-packed levels that include film locales and locations exclusive to the game.

Exclusive to the Xbox version of “Shrek 2”, players can also experience "Hero Time," special adventures that highlight certain characters alone, focusing on that character's special skills and moves. Additionally, the game features a multiplayer component that allows up to four players to join and leave the game without interrupting gameplay.  “Shrek 2” is available now for a suggested retail price of S$69.90.

“Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow”

The Rainbow Six series is credited with popularizing the now-prolific subgenre of realistic, tactical shooters. This exclusive Xbox title from Ubi Soft Entertainment, will once again allow players to assume command of Domingo “Ding” Chavez, the most talented warrior in the Rainbow group and lead the team into tactical warfare. In the campaign, an international cabal of renegade military officers tries to create a war in the oil-rich regions around the Black Sea, giving them an excuse to swoop in and seize control. Team Rainbow must stop the terrorists from developing weapons of mass destruction, and prevent them from starting a devastating war.

“Black Arrow” will boast a number of multiplayer gameplay options, including "capture the point" and "capture the flag," as well as those found in Rainbow Six 3. In addition to its single-player and multi-player campaigns the latest addition; the real-time squad command system allows for co-operative team based play, distinguishing itself from previous releases of this highly popular series.  “Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow” will hit shelves in Singapore on 18 August, at a suggested retail price of S$69.90.
