Xbox set to Rock Singapore with Blockbuster Game Titles

New games set to rev up the Xbox Live experience in Singapore

It’s game on, Singapore! Xbox fans are in for a sizzling treat as Xbox unleashes yet another chartbusting collection of games that will take Singapore gamers to the edge of their seats and onto their feet as the platform reaches unprecedented new highs.

From now until the end of the year, Singapore gamers can look forward to a slew of more than 70 critically acclaimed Xbox game titles that will bring the total number of Xbox games in Singapore to 300 by the end of the year.

“With our exciting line-up of new game titles, we are giving Singaporeans even more reasons to experience Xbox,” said Mr Alex Chua, Microsoft Singapore’s Home & Entertainment Division Manager. “Our blockbuster selection of upcoming game titles in all genres will ensure something for everyone.”

New Titles in July

The excitement kicks off with an scorching July line-up of hit titles, among which are “Sudeki” by Microsoft Game Studios, “Samurai Warriors” by Koei, and “Spider-Man 2”, “Star Wars: Jedi Knight Academy”, “Tenchu: Return from Darkness”, “Pitfall: The Lost Expedition” and  “Shrek 2” by Activision.

300 Xbox Game Titles by Year End

Arguably the biggest title that will be released this year is “Halo 2” by Microsoft Game Studios, the sequel to the highest grossing Xbox title ever, with over 4 million copies sold.  In addition, gamers will be spoilt for choice as a slew of hard hitting, adrenalin pumping titles jostle for position in your local retail store in the next few months.

  • “Spider-man 2 by Activision
  • “Forza Motorsport” by Microsoft Game Studios
  • “Prince of Persia 2” by Ubi Soft
  • “Dead Or Alive Online” by Tecmo
  • “Phantom Dust” by Microsoft Game Studios
  • “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow” by Ubi Soft
  • “Doom 3” by Activision
  • “Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell 3” by Ubi Soft
  • “Call of Duty Finest Hour” by Activision
  • “Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon 2” by Ubi Soft

These titles and more will complement the tremendous range of titles available for Xbox gamers today, taking the number of titles across all genres in Singapore to 300 by the end of the year.
