From 1 August 2009, the RBI(Reserve Bank of India) has made one more level of authentication mandatory for any online transactions via credit cards in India. This requirement is limited to domestic online purchases using credit cards issued in India. As Xbox LIVE is an international service, customers should contact their bank to clarify that transactions on Xbox LIVE do not require this additional level of user authentication. Customers who do not wish to use their credit cards for Xbox LIVE online purchases can also purchase Microsoft Points cards or Xbox LIVE Subscription cards from e-commerce websites like www.letsbuy.com, www.game4u.com and www.buyoriginalms.com or from select retail outlets.
