Search the Knowledge BaseContact Us | Console Exchange Service
Before you request an exchange, search our knowledge base as many problems can be solved quickly and easily without having to send your console away. If you do need an exchange, please complete the Warranty Procedure Claim Form and contact the Exchange Centre for an 'Authorization Number' using one of the following methods:
This 'Authorization Number' is very important and will be used to track the exchange process. An Authorization Number will only be issued if the proof of purchase is sent through, and if your Xbox 360 falls within the warranty periods. If your console is in warranty you will be asked to complete the Warranty Procedure Claim Form and send in proof of purchase. You will receive a doorstep swap from a local courier, who will exchange your old console with a replacement, all free of charge. Only the console must be given to the courier – please remove all accessories, including the hard drive, and check any games have been removed from your console. Please note, the three year warranty only applies to consoles with three flashing lights, or the E74 error message, and you must have proof of purchase, otherwise a handling fee applies (see below). If your console is out of warranty, or if you do not have proof of purchase, you can still arrange for an exchange of your console by contacting the Exchange Centre. The cost for an out of warranty exchange is R680.00. You can choose to have a courier complete a doorstep swap, in which your old console will be exchanged with a replacement, which costs R250.00. Or, you can go to the Exchange Centre to collect the replacement console. In this case, the R250.00 charge for courier services will not apply. Please contact the Exchange Centre directly if you have any questions. Hours of operation are 8am -5pm (Mon - Fri). |
