List of Supported Devices for Xbox 360

 

The following media devices have been tested by Xbox and confirmed to work with the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system. If your device does not appear on this list, it may still work with Xbox 360. We will continue to add devices as we confirm their compatibility.

Portable Music Players

  • Fully Supported: Players listed here are equipped to play both unprotected and protected audio files, right out of the box.
  • Supported: Players listed here work with Xbox 360 but require a firmware update available from their manufacturer's Web site. The update may or may not allow supported players to play protected as well as unprotected audio files through Xbox 360.
  • Unsupported: Players listed here use a proprietary protocol that is not supported by Xbox 360.

Note

Most players will not play files that are protected by DRM (digital rights management).

Note

While most cameras will work immediately with Xbox 360, some cameras need to be set to "review" mode or may require you to change a menu option to "PTP," "Computer," or "USB Connectivity." Cameras in PictBridge™ mode will not work with Xbox 360.
