| The Xbox Live Compatible Logo
The Xbox Live Compatible logo is used for devices and services that allow users to connect to XboxLive. That means you’ll see the Xbox Live Compatible logo on things like routers, wireless bridges, the high-speed ISP Web pages, and so on. Check Xbox.com first for the latest on what devices are Xbox Compatible, as new ones are being added to the program all the time. A Word About the Old Logo The old "Xbox Compatible" logo is still in use for any Xbox peripheral that is not associated with connecting to Xbox Live. This means you’ll see the old logo on things like game controllers, memory units, and so on.
Our Xbox Live partners are now using the new logo. However, as our partners begin to roll out new products with the new logo, you’ll probably see them side-by-side with existing products using the old logo. For example, you may see one router on store shelves with the"Xbox Live Compatible" label and another with the "Xbox Compatible" label. Or, you may see an Internet service provider's Web site with the new logo and a promotional flyer from that provider with the old logo. That’s all OK. Any hardware or provider using the old logo is compatible with Xbox Live. Eventually, all devices and services that allow a user to connect to Xbox Live will sport the new logo. Happy gaming!
