For Mediacom Online,we suggest you use either a direct connection or a router connection. For more information about connection types, choose the way you want to connect to Xbox Live. When using Mediacom Online Internet service, your connection type determines the settings you must specify in the Xbox Dashboard.
Note A PC may be required to activate Mediacom Online Internet service. Before following any connection steps below, you should print or save an offline version of this page, as youmay need to disconnect your PC from the Internet. For a direct connection, you will need a standard Ethernet cable with RJ-45 connectors. To directly connect your hardware:
