NBA 2K6 All-Star Tournament Official Rules

Description of the Tournament
The NBA 2K6 All-Star Tournament ("Tournament") is a skill-based competition in which entrants ("Entrants") play NBA 2K6 games in an effort to score points in a qualifying round ("Qualifying Round") and qualify for the playoffs ("Playoffs") and the live final event ("Finals") in Houston, Texas. The Tournament will be offered in two platforms (Xbox® and Xbox 360™).

During the course of the Qualifying Round and the Playoffs the points earned by Entrants will be displayed as well as their respective rankings on a leaderboard. The number of points earned and the Entrant rankings are calculated using a version of the ELO rating system in which the points awarded will depend on the quality of the competition.  Entrants who play and beat others who are closely ranked will receive fewer points than when they play and beat others who are ranked significantly higher. Conversely, beating Entrants who are ranked lower will move the winning Entrants lower on the Leaderboard. Thirty (30) Entrants from the Xbox and thirty (30) entrants from the Xbox 360 will advance to the live Finals to compete for prizes.
