Call of Duty: World at War Double XP Weekend

To celebrate Independence Day in the United States (July 4), Call of Duty®: World at War™ will run Double-XP for the weekend. The weekend starts July 3 at 10:00 A.M. PST, and ends July 6 at 10:00 A.M. PST. The Double-XP is available worldwide.

It's Double-XP this weekend in World at War.

Also taking place July 3 at 10:00 A.M. PST is a playlist update, where the Map Pack 2 maps will be incorporated into the main Core and Hardcore rotations. Don't worry though, the Map Pack playlist will remain open for those of you looking to get your fix of the Map Pack 2 maps exclusively.

And be sure to check out the Call of Duty site for information on other events. The first ever Weekend Warrior Challenge was just held for US-based Xbox 360® players. More of these events will be held in the future, so keep your trigger finger ready.
