Choose Zune if you already have a Zune device, or download music from Zune Marketplace. You can share all of your music in your collection, including Zune Marketplace content.

Choose Windows 7 media sharing if you want to play content from other online stores.

You can install Zune and configure Windows 7 media sharing on your PC, but your console can only connect to one at a time.

Step 1: Download the Zune software.

Step2: Launch Zune

• On your Windows 7 based PC, launch Zune.

Step 3: Turn on media sharing.

• Click Settings, Software, Sharing.
• Select Enable media sharing with Xbox 360.
• If desired, provide a name for your collection. This name appears in the media source list on your console.
• Select the media types you want to stream to your Xbox 360 console.
• Choose whether you want to share with all of the Xbox 360 consoles on your network, or just specific ones.
• If you chose to share only with specific consoles, select the consoles you want to share to.
• Click OK.

Step 4: Configure your Xbox 360 console.

• In the My Xbox channel, select Video, Music, or Picture Library
• Select your PC. The PCs on your network are listed by name.
• Select an item to play it.

Step 1: Turn on media sharing.

• Click Start button, Control Panel, Network and Internet.
• Select HomeGroup and Sharing Options.
• Click Change advanced sharing settings.
• Under Media streaming, click Choose media streaming options.
• Click Turn on media streaming (administrator rights are required to complete this step).
• Name your media library if desired.
• Click Choose default settings.
• Adjust Star Ratings and Parental Ratings if desired
• Click OK
• By default, all Xbox 360 consoles on the network are allowed to connect.  You can change this if desired.
• Click OK.

Step 2: Configure your Xbox 360

• In the My Xbox channel, select Video, Music, or Picture Library.
• Select your PC. The PCs on your network are listed by name.
• Select an item to play it.
