For the third time, the Tournament of Contenders has issued the call for the world's best boxers to fight for the Contender Championship. This time, 16 of the best super-middleweight fighters have answered the call for a chance to fight for the The Contender crown. They come from different backgrounds but they all have the same dream - to become a champion.

| Season 3 of The Contender premieres with 16 of the best super-middleweight fighters in the world. In order to cut down the fighters from 16 to 10, Sugar Ray Leonard, along with trainers Buddy McGirt and Pepe Correa, employed the help of SPARQ trainers to test the fighters skills: hand-eye coordination, endurance, speed, and punching power. After assessing the boxers for 3 days, ten finalists were selected to compete in The Contender Championship. | ||||||
