Hinder's first album, Extreme Behavior, went triple platinum on the strength of such mega-hits as "Lips of an Angel." Their new album, Take It To The Limit, releasing November 4, 2008, does exactly what the title says, pushing Hinder to the limit, physically and musically.

With Austin Winkler handling the vocals, Joe "Blower" Garvey and Mark King on guitar, Mike Rodden on bass, and Cody Hanson on drums, the band will be taking their high-energy, hard-rocking, classic 70s and 80s sound to arenas and venues all over the world. This band lives their lives the way they play their music: hardcore and full-on. "One of the things that I think is cool is that we really put our lives and what we're going through into our music," states King. "I think that's why people relate to a lot of our songs so well."

Their style, influenced by bands such as Aerosmith, AC/DC, KISS, and Guns N' Roses, but mixed with their own modern sensibility and style, greatly appealed to one fan in particular: Mick Mars of Mötley Crüe, who has a guitar solo on the new album's title track. "Mick Mars was all for working with us, and being huge Mötley Crüe fans we jumped at the opportunity," says Winkler. "We took the song to him, and he killed it! He heard the final version and said, 'It was a beautiful thing.' We went to his house, and it was like the Batcave—nothing but guitars and amps. He is a vampire and so are all of us. It was an honor!"
