Brutal World of Condemned 2

Published February 27, 2008

Coming soon is the free Marketplace demo giving a glimpse into the incredibly brutal world of Condemned 2: Bloodshot™. You begin outside the lowest, seediest dive in town and your situation goes downhill from there, starting with a rapidly escalating fight with some back alley-thugs that show you the ropes of the combat system.

Condemned2

Investigate the underbelly of the city.

Things get strange when you take a brick in the face and the city walls start oozing night-black tar—that's when the real horrors come out to play. A thrilling story of suspense and horror await in the full game, as you delve into the black-and-blue world of Ethan Thomas one year after his traumatic fall from grace as a serial crimes investigator for the FBI.

The full game includes four bone-crushing online modes for up to eight players. Rest assured you have never played a more psycho, in-your-face first person action game.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot

Ethan Thomas was a talented investigator, with an almost supernatural ability to piece together clues and visualize crimes. In Condemned 2: Bloodshot you take him through an even more deadly tour of the seedy underbelly of the city, a place that is rapidly degenerating into a chaos of riots and insane, predatory vagrants. The truth behind all of this will shock and intrigue, as Ethan discovers where he came from and where he is going—always deeper into the psychotic universe of Condemned.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot reinvents first person fighting with a deep combat system that combines fists, melee, combo chains and gruesome finishing moves into a frenetic, tactical experience. That's the brawn of the game. The brains come in with the non-linear crime scene investigation that enables you to use your powers of observation and deductive reasoning to put together what happened in dozens of forensic vignettes.

Don’t expect it to be a pretty picture. Upgrades are directly tied to how well you investigate, and to how many destroyable and viewable story elements you find scattered in the eleven game levels.
