Disturbed's fourth album, Indestructible, releases on June 3.
The band Disturbed have had all three of their previous albums go platinum. Their 2000 debut album, The Sickness, went triple platinum, and the follow-ups Believe and Ten Thousand Fists have helped to bring the band ten million in record sales. Now, in a return to their rhythmic, animalistic roots, Indestructible comes out on June 3, and is sure to appeal to both long-time Disturbed fans and new listeners.
Disturbed's new album features the single "Inside the Fire."
"We wanted to get back to some of the elements that were maybe lacking on the last two records," says guitarist Dan Donegan. Inspired by two and a half years' worth of challenging experiences, vocalist David Draiman told the rest of the band he was in the mood to purge. The band was right there with him, and the result is the group's darkest, angriest outing yet.
Indestructible is an intense firestorm of an album with tracks ranging from dealing with suicide ("Inside the Fire") to the situation in the Middle East ("Enough" and the title track). "Writing this record is the reason I don't have therapy bills," notes Draiman. And Donegan indicates that the intensity was what they were aiming for, in that his goal was "to have the highs be high and the lows be lower."

Disturbed consists of Draiman, Donegan, drummer Mike Wengren, and bassist John Moyer. Wengren chimes in with his thoughts about the album, "I don't wanna sound arrogant but I think we've made the kind of record the industry needs right now. There are not a lot of heavy bands delivering these days. I think our fans—and fans of this genre—will go absolutely nuts for this."
We think Wengren is right. Look for the Disturbed video available on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace!
