Death Cab for Cutie's latest album, Narrow Stairs, hits stores May 13.
After the hugely successful platinum album Plans, Death Cab for Cutie is following it up May 13 with a brand-new release, Narrow Stairs, available on Atlantic Records. Guitarist and keyboard player Chris Walla produced and mixed the album, which features the highly-anticipated new single, "I Will Possess Your Heart."

The video for "I Will Possess Your Heart" was shot by Aaron Stewart-Ahn and videographer Shawn Kim, and includes footage shot on locations in London, Paris, and Tokyo. The video is receiving significant airplay on music channels, and the new album has already received a rave review from MTV.com. They noted that Narrow Stairs was "unquestionably the best thing they've ever done … and an early contender for the best album of 2008."
Ben Gibbard, Chris Walla, Nick Harmer, and Jason McGerr are currently on tour with dates throughout May and June in the U.S. and Canada, including appearances at the Sasquatch! Music Festival on May 25, the Bonnaroo Music Festival on June 15, and the Pemberton Festival in Pemberton, BC on July 27.
