Ice Kills
When you are under the ice, look for an easy kill by pulling your victims through the ice. Turn on your thermal vision to locate your enemy, and then wait for the Smash Through icon to turn into the Grab Character one and then pull your enemy to a frozen, watery grave.
Inventory and Objectives
Save whenever you are about to do something risky and every time you complete a difficult action, such as right before you grab a character, and right after you interrogate them and choke them out. Also, save before exploring any unfamiliar areas.
Save the world as Sam Fisher.
By completing certain objectives, Sam obtains equipment upgrades, including new launcher projectiles. Upgrades to your hacking computer can allow Sam to hack automatically, without lifting a finger.
Tap the Quick Inventory button to re-equip your previous weapon. Use this to switch between the SC pistol and the SC-20K, or to switch back to using the fingerprint scanner, etc.
Strategy
Avoid messing with the lights, generally speaking. Use the available shadows instead, taking down guards and terrorists when they walk through dark areas. When enemies see lights going on and off without explanation they notice, and it makes infiltration harder.
When hacking, see if the Force Hack option is available in the upper part of the display. This inputs the correct code for each column automatically, but without stealth. This can cause an alarm to sound, but will save you lots of time.
