Real-life situation? You never know.

Real-life situation? You never know.

From an interview with a real-life covert agent to a chat with Michael Ironside—the actor that brings our world-weary but dedicated hero, Sam Fisher, to life—as well as a full slate of trailers, concept art, and other goodies sure to please the Splinter Cell faithful, the Limited Edition bonus disc offers a rare look at this already venerable franchise. Here's what you can look forward to.

Covert Ops: Declassified
Though Sam Fisher's exploits may seem far-fetched, they are in fact rooted in a very real, very scary, and very fascinating world. To help bring this world to life and firmly cement the missions and situations Sam faces in reality, Ubisoft brought in Woodie Mister—a former covert operative—as a technical consultant.

If you're a newcomer to Splinter Cell, this bonus disc is an
excellent introduction to the series.

The Covert Ops: Declassified portion of the bonus disc offers a sit down interview with Woodie, giving gamers a rare chance to hear what the life of a cover agent is really like, a first hand account of what it's like to live the life of paranoia that a double agent faces, and what Woodie thinks of Sam Fisher.

Inside Ironside
The bonus disc also offers an exclusive interview with Michael Ironside. This gives fans a chance to not only hear the actor's thoughts on the iconic character he brings to life, but also to see the work as it happens. You'll get a sense of the collaborative efforts the development team and Ironside put into Sam Fisher, giving the character levels of gravity and humanity not often seen in video games.

The Making of Splinter Cell
Double Agent marks a distinct departure for the Splinter Cell series in many ways. Sam is now undercover, the missions don't always take place in the shadows, the "directed moments" take in-game cinematics to a new level, and Sam is both without a net and most of his usual tools.

This development documentary looks extensively at what went into these decisions, why they were made, how they affect the game and how it's played, and why they're important to the evolution of the franchise.

Multiplayer Tactics
The multiplayer versus modes offered by the last two Splinter Cell games have earned critical acclaim by both the press and the gaming faithful. This video preview will not only introduce the multiplayer versus mode to newcomers, but also demonstrate the significant changes made to the mode for veterans.
