Assault Tactics
Always seek the high ground. Many maps have large areas surrounded by catwalks or balconies. Use the elevated positions to fire on your opponents. Some covered positions can be compromised from above.

Many rooms have multiple entrances, so make sure to try and hit defenders from as many angles as possible. Dual entries may take longer to organize, but you stand a much better chance of overwhelming your opponents. Before you move in, call out targets and establish which tactical aids you will use on entry. Avoid entering from opposite sides of the room to keep from inadvertently killing team members. Try to enter along adjacent walls, forming an L-shaped line upon entry.

Wooden doors can be destroyed by automatic fire, so don't always use an aid to break through them. Especially if you suspect an opponent is on the other side, just fire away! Remember, this works both ways, though, so don't camp in front of a wooden door.

Breaching charges are an excellent way to gain entry in a room assault. Within six meters, the blast is lethal, killing all opponents. Even opponents outside the kill radius will be stunned, making them easy to take down. When possible work with teammates to perform simultaneous breaches on the same room.

Weapons Tips
Study the equipment loadouts of your opponents and counter them with the proper equipment. Counter tear gas with gas masks, GPS with a radar jammer, and thermal vision with flashbangs.

Choose a weapon based on the layout of the map and your objective. Stay with an SMG, assault rifle, or a shotgun for close quarters work. If you're defending a position, consider carrying a light machine gun or a sniper rifle.
