As co-creator, lead artist, and game and character designer of the Mortal Kombat series, John Tobias helped define the fighting game genre. In addition to the work he did making the games, he also had a hand in the creation of the many spin-off properties associated with Mortal Kombat, including the blockbuster films, syndicated television show, animated series, and various toy lines. After 10 years and 11 titles at Midway Games, Tobias decided it was time to break away to form Studio Gigante with his fellow owners. Their latest effort is Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus for Microsoft Games Studios.
