Spider-Man Does Whatever a Blockbuster Movie Can ...

The most anticipated movie adventure of the year is now available on Xbox. Activision's Spider-Man features all the wisecracking, web-slinging, and wall-crawling action you'll find in the movie. It also has a ton of extras like additional super-villains, miles and miles of premium New York real estate, and special fighting moves that you won't see on the silver screen.

Guide ol' Webhead through the skyscrapers of New York and explore some of the city's darker and deadlier corners. Battle the likes of the Green Goblin, the Vulture, and the Shocker, but do it Spidey-style. You haven't seen anything until you've seen a super-villain go down under a hail of jump, punch, and kick combinations that can only be pulled off by a guy who can stick to walls—and fights with the proportionate speed and strength of a spider.

You say you want webs? Fear not, True Believer, becauseSpider-Man's got 'em. You can use your web shooters to swing from building to building, tie up your enemies, or haul yourself out of trouble in a hurry if you get surrounded. You can even create web balls to clobber your foes or spin yourself a pair of web gauntlets that increase the impact of your punches.

The best things about the Xbox version of Spider-Man are crisper graphics and smoother gameplay combined with two exclusive levels and fight against the Xbox-only villain Kraven the Hunter. The Kraven levels feature Spidey navigating through a building infested with booby-traps that include poison gas, flamethrowers, and steel-toothed bear traps. Keep moving and stay under cover during these levels, because the Hunter himself literally has you in his sights as he tries to pick you off from a neighboring rooftop with a long-range sniper rifle.

Spider-Man combines one of America's most beloved heroes with a depth of gameplay and game details that are truly awesome and utterly unprecedented. Don't be the last in your friendly neighborhood to get bitten by the bug…swing on over to your local electronics emporium and tell them Spidey sent you.
