Enter the Stride® / Rock Band 2 Play & Win Sweepstakes for a chance to play with your band onstage during the Rock Band 2 Tour sponsored by MTV. The new dynamic online modes connect the entire Rock Band 2 community in more ways than ever before, both locally and globally, and you can enter just by playing with your friends on Xbox LIVE®.
You could take the stage in Houston.
The Grand Prize package is a trip for you and your band to Austin, Texas** to perform in front of thousands during the Rock Band 2 Tour.
** Unfortunately, the Houston portion of the Rock Band Live Tour has been cancelled because the venue suffered damage during Hurricane Ike. As a result, the Grand Prize will now consist of a trip for the winner and three (3) guests to the Rock Band Live Tour event in Austin, TX, on November 13, 2008. Please see the revised Official Rules for full details.
Before registering for the sweepstakes, make sure your Xbox LIVE account information is accurate! Potential winners will be notified by the sweepstakes administrator and have their prizes shipped using the contact info (e-mail, phone, and address) on their Xbox LIVE profile. If your contact info is not up to date you will be disqualified from winning a prize.

Sweepstakes Registration
There are two ways to register for the sweepstakes:Register online here, or via Xbox LIVE Marketplace by downloading the free Stride® / Rock Band 2 Registration Gamer Picture. To download the Gamer Picture:
- Sign in to Xbox LIVE and access Xbox LIVE Marketplace
- Select Game Store
- Select Themes & Gamer Pictures
- Select All Gamer Pictures
- Select Stride® / Rock Band 2
- Select Stride® / Rock Band 2 Play & Win Registration Gamer Picture and select Confirm Download
- Upon the successful completion of the Gamer Picture download you'll see a Thank You for Registering message.
You can also access the free Stride® / Rock Band 2 Registration Gamer Picture via the banner ads running on the Xbox LIVE dashboard.
Sweepstakes Entry
After registering, you will automatically receive one entry into the sweepstakes when you connect to Xbox LIVE and play a multiplayer session of Rock Band 2 between 12:01 A.M. October 17 – 11:59 P.M. October 19 (Pacific Time).
Prize Information
After the sweepstakes entry period, we will conduct a drawing for the Grand Prize from among all eligible entries.
- Grand Prize: One winner and their band (three guests) will be flown to Austin, Texas to the Rock Band 2 Tour to play with their band in front of thousands (MTV is hosting the Rock Band 2 Live Tour).
