Datacore Demolition Guide, Part Two

Welcome to part two of our first-level walkthrough for Perfect Dark Zero™. You've already destroyed the datacore (in part one), but now it's time to get a move on and escape the installation. After destroying the datacore and watching the resulting cut-scene, run straight ahead through the doorway, turn left, and open the door. You find a scientist trapped within a glass cage here at the far
Clean them off to free the scientist. Note: Spider-bots aren't terribly threatening, but if you shoot them too much (three times or more), they explode and cause massive damage. Just hit them once or twice to incapacitate them. Once the scientist is free, hold tight a second and wait for him to use the computer to unlock the nearby door. Follow him through the door and take out any spider-bot that comes near him. He leads you through a hallway or two and eventually to a room with some more scientists. There's also a door with a spider-bot over a datapad. Shoot the spider-bot and activate the datapad to open the door. Head through the door and down the hallway. At the end of the hall on your left is a series of lockers holding FAC-16 assault rifles. This should be a substantial upgrade for you so pick one up (the secondary fire option is a grenade launcher). Follow the scientists through the hall and into the large open room. Shoot the spider-bots as you go, but don't worry yourself about taking them all down. There are tons of them, and it's easier to just clear a path for the scientists and make your way across the area to the far door on the bottom floor.
Close call. Protect him! Head through this door and down the long hallway until you enter the final room. A scientist starts working on the datapad to the left to call down the elevator. In the meantime, you have to protect him. Grab the laptop guns to your right (they're in the blue glowing cases) and use their secondary fire option to set them up on the walls and floors as turrets. Repeat this until you have the room covered from all angles (make sure you throw one up on the wall in front of the datapad) and pick off any spider-bots the laptop guns don't destroy. The elevator should appear in about a minute. Rush in as soon as it does and activate it to head to the top. Step off the elevator and look to your right for another gun case. Swap out guns here and get ready for a firefight. Just outside is a platform crawling with enemies. Move slowly from cover to cover and locate the different grouping of enemies. Zoom in for headshots where you can and hit the red barrels near enemies to take out groups of them at once.
Sorry. That's not your escape vehicle. Make your way slowly to the center of the area, where you find a large platform (slightly raised and just before the space shuttle) that you can take to the top of the area. You're accosted by enemies flying around in jetpacks while you're riding the platform to the top. Use the zoom (left trigger) on your rifle to pick them apart.
Well done. Once you reach the top, it's time to split. Ignore all enemies (especially the ships floating above you), run towards Jack (your dad), and follow him to the exit. Boom! You're home free.
