Boilz Booty Walkthrough

Howdy, Stranger, and welcome back to Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath™. So, you nabbed Filthy Hands Floyd and Looten Duke, and now you've got to deal with one final bandit, a feller by the name of Boilz Booty, before leavin' the comfortable environs o' Gizzard Gulch and headin' to the next town. And that only makes sense, since Boilz is the much tougher brother of Blisterz Booty, the bounty you nabbed at the top of the game. Boilz is here to break out his brother, and break as much of the town as he can while he's at it. If you can't stop him, this here whole place is gonna be nothing but a big bucket of extra crispy.

Next up—Boilz Booty.

Boilzone
The Boilz Booty bounty is triggered as soon as you visit the Doc, and he gives you the lowdown on what it will cost you to get your operation—whatever that may mean. Once you go into the bounty store after talking to Doc, you're not going to be able to visit the general store again, so if you got any shopping to do, do it beforehand.

Operation? What operation?

Binoculars are a good option, if you don't have them yet. Also, make sure you're stocked up with ammo, especially Thudslugs, Bolomites, and Explosive Boombats. You're going to do your best to take 'em alive, but at this point in the game, odds are you're going to be doing your share of killing.

Stock up on Boombats before this fight.

When you walk out of the bounty store, the town is immediately overrun with Boilz and his boys. Boilz packs a shotgun that can take you out in a couple of hits, so your goal is to keep as far from his as possible, while still taking out his boys as you go. Use the back alleys of the town to stay as hidden as well as you can manage.

Boilz Booty's got a lot of boys.

The Boilz gang ain't too tough as individuals, but there's so many of 'em that revealing yourself is just asking to get hammered. The first thing you should do is hit third person and start running at a gallop through the back alley fences. There are three crates of ammo back here, including Boombats and Thudslugs you're going to desperately need. You probably won't have much luck getting truly hidden until you take out a few bad guys, though, so as soon as you have the Boombats start heading for the clusters of enemies on your radar and make with the explosions. Direct Boombat shots knock out most of the thugs within a few hits, but you inevitably end up with a few extras and definitely won't kill Boilz right away with this method. Still, try to damage him as much as you can with the 'bats.

Boom, bat!

After taking out a few of the boys, make sure you've got decent health, you're behind cover, and save the game. Do that every time you eliminate a few more bandits, or you'll be reloading this fight 'til the cows come home.

Stick to cover and never stop moving.

Once his boys are out of the way (with caution and smart play you should be able to capture at least half of them alive) it's time to face the big guy. And I mean big. His shotgun has got insane range, and can take Stranger out in no time if you're not very careful. And, like Looten Duke, Bolomites are useless against Boilz.

Dead or alive, Booty's coming with Stranger.

If you still have Boombats, use them now. When those run out, switch to Thudslugs, and if those run out—and they likely will—unload your remaining compliment of Fuzzles. That ought to do it. Trust me, you didn't want him alive anyway.

In the end, as usual, it comes down to Fuzzles.

Congratulations, you're ready to leave the Gulch behind and head north to Buzzarton. In fact, since Boilz burned down half the town, you have to cash in his bounty at the store in the next town. The trip north isn't difficult, though a couple of mortar-firing toadies try to make it so.

On to Buzzarton, and the next Bounty Store.

Good luck, Stranger. You're gonna need it!
