Xbox Live compatible: Tecmo's revered development team, Team Ninja, has created a unique XboxLive feature within Ninja Gaiden. The Master Ninja Tournament, developed specifically for the game, will allow players to participate in a nationwide competition. Here, players will put their honed ninja skills to the test to determine the topNinja Gaiden player in the country. Participants will compete in downloadable trial missions made available only through Xbox Live. Top-ranked players will win special prizes and be included in the Ninja Gaiden Hall of Fame.
Increased skills and new weapons: As you progress through the game, your skills increase, and you'll be rewarded with new weapons to help fight opponents. The more competent you become in fighting enemies, the stronger you'll become, which unlocks new combinations and skills. Wit and skill are also rewarded. The decisions you make in the game affect the weapons and skills you can acquire.
Amazing visual effects: Witness an amazing level of detail, as you take on opponents in a variety of environments. Hear swords slicing through the air. In the new Hurricane download for Ninja Gaiden, you'll be eager to test the new staff weapon against the harder foes. If Lunar's out of your reach in the first half of Chapter One, switch from the Dragon Sword to the Nunchakus. They don't hit as hard, but they are faster, which will help you keep enemies moving in those crowded rooms-while on the defensive, they won't score big hits on you. Maintain the frantic pace until you adjust to the speed or until you reach Lunar, which is excellent against both the souped-up ninjas and the Chapter One boss.
