Exclusive Tips

Tip #1

Every player in NCAA Football 2005 has a composure rating. Try sending blitz package after blitz package against the QB to knock down his composure. Rush him, hit him when he throws the ball, try to tip his passes, and, of course, sack him if you can. The QB is the centerpiece of the offense, and if you rattle him, you rattle the offense.

Tip #2

The audible is key! Many players don't call an audible because, frankly, they don't know which audible corresponds to which button. Do a little research and set the audibles to plays you want and are comfortable with. Also, don't forget about the coverage audible (e.g. bringing up your safeties to protect against the run) and the new rushing audible (changes the direction the play will run). Adapting on the fly is vital to your success—always keep your opponents guessing!
