Two Ways to Get Your Favorite Songs:

PC to Xbox Connectivity

So, you have a huge library of music on your PC. Maybe you’re an amateur photographer, too, and have a zillion digital photos. Are your PC speakers as good as your speakers in your living room? Probably not. Is your 15” PC monitor really doing the trick when you want to show off your photos to a large group of people? Probably not. How is the seating around your PC? Probably not very good, is it? Wouldn’t it be great to take the multimedia experience from the den to the living room? Now is your chance.

With Xbox Music Mixer, you can easily transfer audio files (WMA, MP3) and digital photos (JPG) from your PC to your Xbox video game system, creating the ultimate music and video library right in your living room.

Here’s what you need to get started:

  • Xbox Video Game System
  • Xbox Music Mixer
  • Xbox Music Mixer PC Transfer Tool
  • Available for download soon.
  • Microsoft Windows XP
  • Microsoft Windows Media Player 9
  • Xbox-to-PC Ethernet Connection, via LAN or Xbox System Link Cable (Crossover Cable)

Once you’ve installed the Xbox Music Mixer PC Transfer Tool, you have everything you need to start transferring music and photos. You won’t need to install the tool again.

To import music, karaoke songs (available at XboxKaraoke.com), and photos with the Xbox Music Mixer PC Transfer Tool, simply click the Windows XP Start Button, then All Programs, Xbox Music Mixer, then Music Mixer PC Tool. It’s super easy to use, so once the tool is fired up, simply follow the wizard instructions and begin the fun. Just make sure you have Xbox Music Mixer running in your Xbox and that it’s connected to your PC in one of the ways listed above—otherwise, the transfer tool won’t find your Xbox.

The music, karaoke, and photo files you selected will be available after you’ve transferred them to your Xbox. You can transfer files to your Xbox in three areas of Xbox Music Mixer. Select the IMPORT feature in the Music Player, Karaoke, or Slide Show modes to get the party started.

Then, select where you want the songs and photos to go. Create new soundtracks and photo albums or merge songs and photos into existing ones. You’re in control. You can even title that Best of Debbie Gibson album as a Led Zeppelin Live album, so your friends will never be the wiser … unless they hit Play, of course.

Don’t forget that, once you’ve transferred your music and photos to your Xbox, you can remove the vocals for nearly unlimited karaoke, set up an incredible array of music for your next party, and even match music and photos up to create a “touching” slide show experience.

Now, go bring down the house—you’re house!
