Baseball is finally here, and to celebrate the return of the Boys of Summer, we've got a special Opening Day Major League Baseball® 2K8 Play & Win Sweepstakes. We've got hundreds of prizes to give away, including authentic MLB merchandise and thousands of Microsoft Points.
You could win the jersey of your favorite player.
The sweepstakes begins on April 4, 2008 and ends on April 6, 2008. You'll receive a new entry each day you play a multiplayer match online.
Before registering for the sweepstakes, make sure your Xbox LIVE account information is accurate! Potential winners will be notified by the sweepstakes administrator and have their prizes shipped using the contact info (e-mail, phone, and address) on their Xbox LIVE profile. If your contact info is not up-to-date you will be disqualified from winning a prize.

Next, register your gamertag before 11:59 P.M. ET on April 6, 2008 and then play in an online multiplayer match between 12:01 A.M. ET on April 4, 2008 and 11:59 P.M. ET on April 6, 2008 to enter. You'll score a new sweepstakes entry for every day you play during the entry period.
Prize Information
On April 28, the winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during each Prize Period to win one of the following Daily Prize Packages:
- Five Daily First Prize packages: 2K Sports T-Shirt, 2K Sports Hat, and 4000 Microsoft Points
- Fifteen Daily Second Prizes: 3000 Microsoft Points
- Thirty Daily Third Prizes: 2000 Microsoft Points
- Sixty Daily Fourth Prizes: 1000 Microsoft Points
- One Hundred Daily Fifth Prizes: 500 Microsoft Points
All Daily First Prize Package Winners will automatically receive one entry into their Daily Grand Prize Drawing. One winner will be selected in a random drawing from the five Daily Prize Package Winners to win a choice of one of the following Daily Grand Prize Packages (total of three Daily Grand Prize Package winners):
- Baseball autographed by a MLB athlete
OR - Authentic Major League Baseball Jersey for the player of your choice
