Kameo Design Your Skin Contest Announced
Ever wonder what Kameo would play like if Pummelweed was dressed like a roller-skating ninja? How about if Kameo had metallic skin and bat wings? Please send your Kameo skin in to this address, even if you sent it previously (we want to make sure we get everyone's entries). The contest has also been extended to June 11, to make sure everyone gets a chance to participate. We look forward to seeing your creations! Since the very first onscreen pixel, fans have dreamed of creating their own original art designs for their favorite videogame characters. Now Microsoft Game Studios and Rare® are giving Xbox 360™ fans a chance to unleash their inner artist and make the dream a reality with the Kameo™: Elements of Power™ Design Your Skin Contest. From April 19 to June 11, 2006, aspiring artists can register for the contest and electronically submit a unique, originally designed "skin" of one of the elemental warriors or Kameo herself from Kameo: Elements of Power. Designers will enter for a chance to have the whole world play using their designs when they are made publicly available at a later time. The contest is open to aspiring artists 13 years of age or older. Entries must consist of an original design of either Kameo or one of the elemental warriors; a title (e.g. “Roller Ninja Pummelweed"); and a brief description. Entries must be submitted electronically to Kameo_Contest@Kameo.com. Please also include your first name and/or Gamertag. Submit your skin here! Finalists will be judged by a panel of Xbox® and Rare team members on the basis of creativity and feasibility for the team to reproduce as downloadable content. One winner for Kameo and each of her warriors will be chosen for a total of 11 winning entries.
