Easter Eggs in October Von Ghoul is a bad, bad man. Every time Cooper enters a new room, von Ghoul knocks Coop’s health down—way down. So put this on your to-do list: trash the place! There just might be some health hiding inside those boxes and barrels. But be careful, you big bully, because not everything you find will be good. Some of the cans may be bad stuff. Some of them slow you down, make you walk like a chicken, or worse!
Spring Cleaning That Baron’s not much of a neat freak. He keeps his mansion dirtier than a chicken coop. There's so much clutter in every room and so many ghoulies and monsters hiding in it! Time to give those goons a knuckle sandwich! Get a jump on the baddies, and take them out before you’re cornered. Skeletons may have a glass jaw, but not every palooka in the palace has the same Achilles heel. Mummies give up the ghost when the action heats up, so knock them into the fire if you can. And if that killjoy named Death crashes the party, watch out! He’s got a deadly touch that takes you out in one tap. But you're not the only one. Get some ghouls between you and Death, and then watch the tide turn as pirates, vamps, and spiders turn to mush as the Dark One does the deed.
I Challenge Thee to a Challenge! Yeah, the girls like to ogle your muscles, but let’s face it—only a dumb pug thinks he can win just by breaking stuff. Sometimes, the best way to win a fight is to not fight at all! Keep an eye on those challenges that the Baron tosses your way. Sometimes you’ll have to tiptoe your way past the haunted doors and two-headed monsters to make it to the next room. And keep an eye open for invisibility juice—one swig of that sweet stuff and you’re splitsville, so time it right and your path to victory is in the bag! But remember, if you blow the challenge, Death will come for you.
A Rare Find A friend in need is a friend indeed. You’ve got some pals on the inside who will hook you up with what you need to knock off the bad guys. Whether it’s a garlic-shooting gun or a holy water hose, these gadgets sure come in handy. But relax that trigger finger; you've only got so much ammo to blow at a time. Spray those saucy spirits in spurts, and give your gun time to reload. If your spook shooter fails to bump ‘em off, try smacking them with the business end of your piece. While you’re at it, look around for those fancy books hidden about the muck. Every five tomes you turn up unlocks a hidden challenge, so keep your eyes open! There’s one in every room.
