Xbox Live® means different things to different people. For some, it is a perpetually raging battlefield where the world's toughest cyber soldiers can test their reflexes in tournaments, matches, and events ranging from real-world sports games to war simulations to fantasy escapes. For others, Xbox Live Marketplace is where it's at for music, video, and game demo downloads.

Regardless of your leanings, there is one facet of the premiere online gaming service that can be used and enjoyed by all. That feature is the achievements system.
Every title published for Xbox 360™ has its own unique set of achievements laid out by the game's creators. Depending on the type of game, you can unlock and earn up to 1000 points through various feats of mastery. These accomplishments can vary greatly between genres.
Some of the more common ways to unlock an achievement are:
- Finish the single-player story mode
- Complete the game on the hardest difficulty level
- Play X amount of games, online or off
- Perform feats of mastery (three-pointers in basketball, headshots in first-person shooters, etc.)
- Find every collectible or secret
- Finish every optional side mission or quest
Ultimately, it's up to the developer to break down the total number of gamerscore points and assign them to different achievements for that game. As you pass each in-game milestone and accrue more points, you may unlock secret achievements that are only revealed to you when a required action is performed.
This element of mystery rewards players of a persistent and adventurous nature and encourages them to explore every nook and cranny laid out before them.

Full Auto Goals
Full Auto™ follows its no-holds-barred philosophy not only in gameplay, but in achievements as well. It boasts 50 separate goals across several different categories. Here's a comprehensive look at what you can expect.
- Earning medals: Each single-player race offers up a set challenge to earn a Semi-Auto medal or Full-Auto medal. Just so there's no confusion, that doesn't reflect the need to use semi-automatic or fully-automatic weaponry—those are just the names of the medals. If you earn a Semi-Auto medal for every race, you earn an achievement. The same goes for the Full-Auto medals.
- Master difficulty: You unlock an achievement for completing the following race types with the hardest difficulty setting (called Master).
- Circuit Master: This is your standard circuit race, asking you to finish a certain amount of laps and finish first.
- Point to Point Master: There are no laps here. Race from one end of the track down to the other.
- Down and Back: For this achievement, race to one end of the track, turn around, and make it back to the starting line in first place.
- Overall records: These achievements are simple in theory but challenging in practice. You receive achievements for accruing set amounts of victories in any race mode. You unlock one achievement for:
- 10 wins.
- 25 wins.
- 50 wins.
- 100 wins.
- Wreck points: With so much of the gameplay focused on destruction, these achievements give full due to just how much havoc you wreak. You score achievements for:
- 10,000 wreck points.
- 50,000 wreck points.
- 100,000 wreck points.
- 500,000 wreck points.
- 1,000,000 wreck points.
- Kill mastery: Much like netting achievements for set amounts of wins, you also unlock achievements by meeting milestones for:
- 100 kills.
- 250 kills.
- 500 kills.
- 1000 kills.
Full Auto also marks the first game to offer rewards for moving up in your online ranking. You find achievement glory for each ranking you earn from level one to level ten.

Escaping the carnage.
Full Auto's achievement offering is not only robust in number, but in variety and challenge as well. Some you unlock as a matter of course, while others take complete focus and resolve to achieve. Enjoy the journey and the reward. You'll find both in Full Auto.
