Far Cry Instincts Predator™ offers a tactical blend of first-person shooter (FPS) action, stealth, and supernatural abilities. The pace is tense, the enemies dangerous, and the environments fraught with opportunity and peril. Try these starting tips on for size, and you might live through the night. Good luck.
Wait Till Red
Different weapons have different ranges—if you're blasting a pea-shooter pistol at a distance, you can't pick people off. Make sure you don't announce your presence by shooting while the reticule is still gray. You're good to go when you've got a red targeting reticule. Let the lead fly.

Enemy goes as the truck goes.
Jungle Cover
Foliage in Far Cry Instincts Predator is your friend. Bushes, low-hanging trees, and other brush act as needed concealment. Line of sight is king in Far Cry, and meshing with the jungle saves you from the enemy's notice, even when he's only a few feet away. There's usually a beaten path to your next objective, but disregard it. Stick to the brush and get the jump on upcoming enemies.
No Run, No Gun
See it, shoot it is a standard FPS tactic, but it needs to be sheathed here. Far Cry rewards patience, not cutting loose with a dozen rounds at the mere sight of a patrolling guard. There's nearly always a more efficient, less noticeable tactic to taking out an enemy, so survey their patrol path, the environment around them, and how to use the combination of the two in concert with your weapons and tools to get the job done.

This is what happens when you stay on the beaten path.
Get Close
Get close enough and kill just about anyone and anything with a single blow. Whether it's a melee attack with your trusty knife or Feral Punch that puts them down, use stealth to get within arm's reach. It may not always be possible, but consider as an option with each lone sentry you see.
Going Prone
Following the logic of cover and stealth, your posture also plays a role in being spotted. Crawl along prone under dangerous circumstances. You're harder to spot and harder to hit. It's easy to forget, so make a habit out of it.

Pick 'em off at a distance.
Weapon Swaps
The mercenaries' weapons can change at the drop of a hat, so if you're running out of bullets and not finding replenishing clips, take note of the enemy's weaponry. Swap out your primary weapon to match that of the immediate enemies, and stop worrying about running out of ammo.
Sneak Past
It's natural to think that any enemy needs to be a dead enemy, but that's not the case. There are many opportunities to sneak on by without ever being spotted. Far Cry Instincts Predator may not be Splinter Cell, but you can avoid conflict at times and be the better for it. Be on the lookout for such occasions and save yourself a possible dangerous conflict.
