Underworld Rise of the Lycans and Fable II Play & Win Sweepstakes Official Rules

By entering the Underworld Rise of the Lycans and Fable II Play & Win Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") you (or, if a minor in your state of residence, your parent or legal guardian) agree to abide by these Official Rules and any other terms and conditions referenced in these Official Rules.
1. Eligibility
This Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the 50 United States (and the District of Columbia) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Microsoft Corporation ("Sponsor"), its licensor and prize provider, and any person engaged to work on this Sweepstakes and their respective affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, promotional partners, advertising and promotional agencies (collectively "Sweepstakes Entities") and each of their immediate family members (including mother, father, sister, brother, child, husband or wife) and those living in their households (whether related or not) are not eligible to enter or win.
2. Entry Period
This Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 A.M. Pacific Time (PT) on January 16, 2009, and ends at 11:59 P.M. PT on January 19, 2009 ("Entry Period").
3. How to Enter
There are two (2) ways to enter: online or via US mail.
To enter online , you must have access to an Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system, and the Fable® II Xbox 360 video game, and be an Xbox LIVE® Gold member in good standing. Once you have verified that you meet these system requirements, to enter, you must register and play online as follows:
Register online at www.xbox.com/underworldpromo ("Sweepstakes Site") and complete all of the required registration requirements, or follow the instructions below to register online via Xbox LIVE Marketplace by downloading the free Underworld-Fable II Play & Win Registration Gamer Picture ("Gamer Picture").
Once registered via either of the aforementioned methods, you must log in to the Xbox LIVE service on an Xbox 360 system and play a Fable II multiplayer session between 12:01 A.M. PT on January 16 and 11:59 P.M. PT on January 19, 2009 to receive an entry.
To download the Gamer Picture via Xbox Live Marketplace:
Follow these steps:
- Sign in to the Xbox LIVE service and access the Xbox LIVE Marketplace,
- Select "Game Store",
- Select "Themes & Gamer Pictures",
- Select "All Gamer Pictures",
- Select "Underworld",
- Select "Underworld-Fable 2 Registration Gamer Picture" from the list of available content and select "Confirm Download".

Click on any Sweepstakes banner ads running on the Xbox LIVE dashboard to access the Gamer Picture
You must register for the Sweepstakes online using the same Xbox LIVE gamertag that you will use to play Fable II on the Xbox LIVE service during the Entry Period. Please be sure that your Xbox LIVE account membership information including e-mail address, mailing address and phone is correct and current. You can update your Xbox LIVE gamer profile information as follows.
Updating Account Information:
You can verify/update your profile information via your account profile on Xbox.com or through the Xbox Dashboard:

- Select your Gamercard.
- Select "Manage Account".
- Select "Contact Information".
- Enter your account e-mail and password, and then select "Sign In"
- E-mail address is located on the Contact Information screen.
- Via Xbox.com:
- Go to http://live.xbox.com/en-US/default.aspx.
- Sign in to Xbox using your Windows Live ID account email and password.
- Select "Manage Profile" on your "My Xbox" Home Page.
- Select "Billing and Contact Information".
- Update your Profile Information and then select "Save".
To enter via U.S. mail without playing the Fable II game online , hand-print your first and last name, mailing address, city, state, ZIP code, date of birth, phone number, and e-mail address (if any) on a 3x5 piece of paper and mail it to:

Limit one (1) mail-in entry per envelope. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by January 19, 2009, and received by January 29, 2009.
We will only accept one (1) entry per person/email address, regardless of entry method. Entries from the same individual and/or email address received in excess of the limits stated herein will be automatically disqualified.
The use of automated devices to enter this Sweepstakes is prohibited. Sponsor may disqualify any entrants who use an automated entry device, in its sole discretion. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, stolen, incomplete, misdirected, mutilated, postage due or illegible entries or any computer, online telephone, or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become Sponsor's property and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Privacy Policy: All information collected by Sponsor in connection with the Online Entries will be subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy available at the Sweepstakes Site.
4. Winner Selection / Prizes
On or around February 15, 2009, Sponsor or its Administrator will select one (1) Grand Prize winner, one (1) First Runner-Up winner and one (1) Second Runner-Up winner from among all eligible entries received.

All random drawings will be conducted under the supervision of Sponsor, whose decisions are final. Limit one (1) prize per person. Odds of winning are based on the number of eligible entries received. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. No substitution, transfer, or assignment of prize permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event an offered prize is unavailable. Taxes on the prizes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Any and all guarantees, warranties and restrictions with respect to the prizes are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty or guarantee claim.
5. General Conditions
Sweepstakes entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winners will be notified within seven (7) days after the drawing date via the contact information provided at time of entry. Winners (or parent or legal guardian if a winner is a minor in the legal jurisdiction in which the winner resides) may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within seven (7) days following the date of attempted notification. Non-compliance within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Return of any prize / prize notification as undeliverable or failure to accept prize within the specified time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Entrants further grant to Sponsor the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print in any other media in connection with the Sweepstakes. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winner's names and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, shareholders, representatives, agents, successors and assigns (collectively "Releasees"), from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or any prize won.
6. Internet
If for any reason the Internet portion of this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes. In any such event, Sponsor, at its sole discretion, will select the winner(s) from eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the event requiring such termination, suspension or cancellation. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Entries made by Internet will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
