Xbox LIVE® Account Users If you have a current Xbox Live account and the latest Xbox Dashboard update, you can configure your Xbox Dashboard to display in 480p before you start Fable.
After you configure the Xbox Dashboard to display in 480p, you can start Fable without video issues. In the future, you must start the Xbox Dashboard before you start Fable to avoid these video issues. To do this:
Press the disc tray eject button.
Wait for the Xbox Dashboard to load.
Push the disc tray eject button again to close it and start Fable.
Non-Xbox LIVE Account Users If you do not have a current Xbox LIVE account, you can update the Xbox Dashboard so that it can display in 480p. To do this, you must use an Xbox LIVE-enabled game that was released after May 2004. Some examples of appropriate Xbox LIVE-enabled games include RalliSport Challenge 2, Madden™ NFL 2005, Star Wars Battlefront™, DRIV3R™, and Full Spectrum Warrior™.
After you have an appropriate game, start the Xbox console and access the Xbox LIVE menu. On the Sign In screen, select New Account, and this will prompt the Xbox Dashboard to update. A green and black screen will appear, informing you that the update is occurring.
Note: You do not have to sign up for a new account, but by accessing the New Account section of the game, you initiate the update process.
After the update is completed, load the Xbox Dashboard. Configure the Xbox Dashboard to display in 480p.
