Crash Gets Real
The Bandicoot is back, and this time his rubber-soled feet have landed firmly on the Xbox®.

You will believe a bandicoot can fly...
The Universal Interactive title Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex lets you take everyone's favorite hyperactive orange marsupial on a breakneck run though dozens of wild environments in a race to defeat evil Dr. Neo Cortex. Drive crazy vehicles like a hang-glider, offroad four-wheelers, a construction suit straight out of the Alien movies, and of course a giant hamster ball. You and Crash will dash, skid, slide and belly-flop to the final showdown with Dr. Cortex and his monstrous new creation—an over-muscled fuzzy menace named Crunch.

In this case, green does not mean go...
Dr. Cortex, Uka Uka and a gang of villains from Crash's earlier adventures have gathered to settle the Bandicoot's hash once and for all. Dr. Cortex's newest creation, the mutant super-bandicoot Crunch, is complete—but he needs a power source. Enter the evil Uka Uka, who releases four magic elemental masks that give Crunch power over earth, air, water and fire. Look out—Crash will need all of his Bandicoot moves to collect the crystals that will imprison the elementals and end Dr. Cortex's nasty plans. As you guide Crash toward his inevitable confrontation with the mad Doctor, he'll pick up extra skills along the way such as the tip-toe, nitro-stopping "sneaky feet."

Them Duke boys got nothin' on Crash!
Crash has never looked better thanks to the console's superior graphics. The developers at Traveller's Tales went all-out with a cleverly named Xbox feature called "fur shading." What does that mean for you? It means Crash, his sister Coco, and evil Crunch actually have—get this—real-looking fur! What's more, every bizarre environment truly comes alive on the Xbox. Icy frozen lakes are really icy. Electrified water pools crackle with dangerous sparks and reflective textures. And don't get me started on that fire-breathing dragon...

Crunch is evil—just check out his spikes!
Adventure fans of all ages, be warned—you haven't really seen Crash Bandicoot until you've seen him on the Xbox. And whatever you do, don't step on the nitro!

Get away from her, you super-Bandicoot!
