Blood and Glory in T.M.S. Spamano

By Odin Toelust

Hear me, young Vikings! The halls of Valhalla are thick with heroes who've fallen in the bloodiest and most treacherous conflict Conker™: Live & Reloaded has to offer: T.M.S. Spamono. Heed my words and achieve victory in the most noble of struggles—defeating the Tediz—and come through the battle alive to fight on for glory!

Before I go into the specifics, you young Vikings should know what you're getting yourself into …

The Goal
T.M.S. Spamono is a long green and red tunnel, divided by the reactor core in the middle. The core belongs deep in the territory of the Tediz where it can do its job: blowing them up! I don't know how it works, but it's not good to cloud a Viking's mind with such trivial things as nuclear physics. There's only one thing to know—death to Tediz!

The path to victory couldn't be more straightforward: Grab the core and plant it in the Tediz end of the tunnel.

Ah, but like Loki's corset, it's not as simple as it looks. In a big tunnel with very little room to maneuver, you face withering fire from the enemy. It takes a brave squirrel to stand up to that, but if you're anything like me, Odin Toelust, you have courage to spare! It can be a saga getting to the core, let alone carrying it all the way to the other end of the tunnel. Lucky for you, I know just what to do.

Easy Kills
Like any true Viking, I know you relish the hand-to-hand combat that leaves you covered in enemy blood. T.M.S. Spamono demands a slightly different tactic, however. Help your hearty fellows by taking up the sniper rifle. I know, you may disdain the weapon for its treachery, but is it sneaky to shoot from a position where the enemy always knows where you are? No! I, Odin Toelust, say it is not! With limited maneuverability, your targets have few places to hide and absolutely must come down the middle of the tunnel. It's a target-rich environment—just what a sniper wants. Be careful not to shoot a mate in the back—you won't get into Valhalla doing things like that!

Initially, take out the turrets with your depleted uranium rounds—those magic bullets make quick work of the fortification. If a Tediz is in the seat when the turret explodes, so much the better! Drown survivors in the blood of their comrades!

Do I need to tell you young Vikings that the sniper should kill any Tediz that even come close to the core? I thought not!

Big Kills
True Vikings don't worry about standing up and fighting. The Demolisher carries a heavy weapon that can sweep a wide area of T.M.S. Spamono clear in one shot. It's slow going carrying that heavy thing, but there's really only one place to go anyway: straight down the enemy's throat and toward victory! Use everything you have to kill your way to a win—keep up the fire, too. It's a long time between reloads for that weapon, I know, but have courage and keep moving. Always keep moving! When you get to the core, you know what to do—unleash your feral side and run, run, run. Don't stop for anything, just keep your eye on the goal and get to it.

Now, Odin Toelust won't lie to any of you. Demolishers are going to die. A lot. But know this: Entry to Valhalla is only for the noblest, for those willing to make the biggest sacrifice for their mates. What makes it all good is how many Tediz you splatter over the tunnel, and the Demolisher is the one to bring rocket-launched glory to the team.

Little Helpers
Grenades love T.M.S. Spamono like no other location. Even one can have an extreme effect on the battle. You may not be accustomed to them, but now's the time to use them. They're so effective that I can't help but to give them special mention. Spread the enemy all over the walls with grenades!

Antechambers
There are two chambers by the core with weapon upgrades. They're not the priority but if the situation warrants, hack the locks to get into 'em. You don't need the upgrades but they sure make things easier.

That's it! My tips will surely help you win countless victories in this grim place of death. Fear not, my valorous Vikings, and be strong!
