Prima Tips for Clive Barker's Jericho
Published November 6, 2007
1. Don't be a Stick in the Mud
Once you've found an occult power you like, it's easy to stick with your favorite Jericho team member. Don't! Make frequent use of your ability to possess teammates and mix up your strategy. Make the most of all the occult powers at your disposal.

Hey, you! Before you go in that doorway, better check out these tips.
2. Blood Ward
Church's Blood Ward power is, by far, one of the most underrated powers in the game. Though it doesn't deal damage, you can use it in a multitude of ways. Freeze multiple targets in place to enable your escape, hold enemies in place to make them easier to hit, or use it to stop flying enemies when they swoop down on you.
3. Combine Occult Powers
Combine Occult Powers to maximize each power's potential. Sure, Church's Blood Ward can be used to stop enemies, but pair it with Fire Ward and you've got "bad guy flambé." Try different Occult Power combos to see how many different ways you can take out enemies.
4. Secondary Weapons
Don't underestimate the power of secondary weapons. A Jericho member's primary weapon is especially powerful, but some of the second weapons can be quite helpful, such as Delgado's. Take the time to experiment with them and use them.

Try all the weapons and all the occult powers to see how they work together.
5. Aim for the Weakness
Get to know each enemy because every enemy has a weakness. Flamethrowers, for example, can be destroyed quickly if you fire on their fuel tank and blow them up. A Machinegunner can be killed quickly by aiming at his head, located at the center of his grotesque chest.
6. Understand the Bosses
Just as enemies have weaknesses, so do bosses. However, a boss's weakness is much more specific and attacking a boss at the wrong time could prove costly. For example, when fighting Enlil and Innana, you're bound to meet with death if you focus only on their Sumerian Puppet. Look for what feeds and sustains Innana and eliminate her source of power before you engage the puppet.
7. Bonus Codes
Don't be afraid to use the Bonus Codes while attempting to unlock Xbox 360® Achievements! Using Bonus Codes won't disable Achievements, so have at it!
8. Cole's Targeting System
One of the powers that isn't classified as occult and can be easily overlooked is Cole's targeting system. By zooming in with your primary weapon, Cole's targeting system instantly identifies an enemy's weak point!
9. Ghost Bullet
Practice using Black's Ghost Bullet Occult Power. Not only does it slow time and allow you to steer a bullet at multiple enemies, it also instantly exposes enemy locations. Expert use of the Ghost Bullet grants you a deadly advantage while snaking through tunnels or even ambushing multiple enemies around corners!
10. There's Always Fisticuffs
Don't forget, you can also use standard melee attacks to fend off enemies that get too close for comfort. Sure, you've got primary and secondary weapons. Sure, you've got first and second Occult Powers, but when all else fails and neither bullet nor dark power stops the enemy, turn to the almighty melee strike! Some melee strikes can slice enemies to ribbons or simply knock an enemy back enough to get a clean shot.
