The Pipeline
At A Glance
Now that you've successfully repaired the wire, contacted HQ, and blown up three Nazi tanks with sticky bombs in part one of the second Russian mission, it's time to navigate—and survive—the pipeline part of the mission. Objectives
Don't end up like this. Reach the Train Yard You can opt to stir up the hornet's nest and pick them off from above, or you can silently move through the pipe until it terminates at a nearby building. The choice is yours, but if they spot you peeking down on them your enemies will open fire (and the pipe isn't bulletproof, either). Once you drop into the train yard, you have to neutralize any enemies before you can catch your breath. Stock up on supplies and let your wounds heal before moving on to the next objective. Overtake the Building Enter the building and make your way upstairs. Park your kiester at the top of the stairs and whack any foes that goose-step their way to your position. Stay away from the windows or you'll get shot, and quickly flee any grenades that land near you. Defend the Building Exit the building and press onward, but take cover behind the outpost building or in a nearby crater to dodge enemy gunfire. Not far off is another tank. You know the drill, so pick off the waves of infantry reinforcements before tossing a smoker at the Panzer. Run up to it and plant a sticky bomb on its butt, then run for cover before it explodes. Eliminate the Remaining Nazi Forces
Steady your aim while sniping from afar. There's a sniper rifle on the second floor of a nearby building, but it's guarded by a heck of a lot of Nazis. Go from room to room and clear the place out, then camp by the windows and take down the incoming forces. Your enemies try to pick you off, so duck and/or move positions to avoid getting shot. After you've slain a healthy number of the enemy, they back off the attack. With the Nazis on the run, it's time for you and your crew to get ready for the next blazing assault. Pick up your rifle, soldier, and prepare for another harrowing fight to the death. Good luck! |
