Okay, so far all of the levels have been pretty straightforward. As long as your aim was pretty good, you could just tank your way through with guns blazing. Level 8's a little bit different. You have to sneak into Nagau harbor and blow up two munitions freighters at the dock. The shoreline along the way is riddled with towers; the harbor itself has a pretty healthy number of turrets, too. And then there's the obligatory small fleet inside the harbor, just to make things interesting.

The trick here is to go slow and pick off each target from long range with your twin cannons. If you get into in a turning fight or charge headfirst into the harbor while the turrets are alive, you can count on getting roasted. If you run into a boat and a tower at the same time, kill the tower first.

To recap:

Your first task is to make your way up the harbor successfully. Stay right as much as possible. Keep the shoreline on your right and make your way up the delta deliberately and methodically. You don't have to rush—resist the temptation to just speed down to the harbor. The enemy ships you encounter should be fairly easy to dispatch, and you may even be able to leave a few floating health crates for your trip back. The land turrets should be easy to take out one at a time with your cannons. Follow the courseI've outlined on themap, and you should make it through ok.

When you reach the mouth of the harbor, you'll see what looks like a big fort with turrets at each of the four corners. Kill the turrets ASAP.

Those puppies fire rockets; if they start hitting the water near you, you'll bounce around too much to maneuver. But just keep following the east shore and you'll find another pair of turrets—they're guarding a gate. Unless you like getting shot in the back with high explosives, kill them quickly. Be sure to stay near the shore at all times—your goal is to avoid the attention of the boats patrolling the harbor.

Nearby, you'll see the docks—and big freighters that can take quite a bit of punishment. Once you start attacking, they leave the dock and start cruising around the harbor. Be careful: they're trying to draw you into range of more turrets on the far side of the harbor. If you have to chase them, try to use the freighter as a mobile shield from the turrets. I've had those turrets do my job for me a couple of times, just by hiding behind the freighters and letting them soak up the rockets. Like I said, there's a small fleet of Jade Kingdom boats running around in the harbor too, dispose of them as you see fit.
